To be fair to those on the pitch it sounds like they did okay. Josh Jones seemed to have a great game from the commentary and they made it sound like we were camped on their line for large parts of the game.

Not sure we can blame the injuries and suspensions for this one, as we have no decent half backs anyway.

The club is a joke at present and is reaping the consequences of a decade of lazy and unambitious recruitment. We will set all kinds of records this season, losing games we never have before, losing record numbers of games and in bigger streaks than we ever have before. We are now as bad as Bradford after their fall from grace and there could be years of this to come unless McManus leaves.

do they toss up whose taking the goalkicking duty then?
after going 10 nill up against london ( who haven't been much cop this season) they should have won it...when the crowd attendance end's up as it was at knowsley rd mcmanus will be crying....hohaia...perry...etc along with brown should be told to sling their hook!

We do have a six, remember, he's just having a rest over there in Salford. Presumably that decision was given the go ahead by Mr Big?

You've got to hope there's and underlying reason for Gaskell going, as implied by certain posters, but we really need some sort of rudder at #7 so, we need to move for either a Moore, Finn or Brierly from the championship or try and get a NRL fringe player on loan for the rest of the season.

The other point is that, listening to the commentary, its the young saints lads that are performing - jones, Makinson, Percival , Walmsley and debutant Thompson.

Soliola apart, the old pros sound seriously lacking. It would be Intertesting to hear what the guys who've been to the game say.

That is the recurring theme. They're mainly lacking in attitude IMO. They don't have Jammer kicking their backsides like they did in 2011 when we last had the same problem. We have lazy seniors, bar Wello, and bad discipline, which is wholly and totally a coaching responsibility.

Apparently the optional 3rd year on Boof's contract is in the player's favour, so it's entirely up to him whether he stays or not. I'll be alarmed if we give Wello another playing contract, though.

Doesn't matter who has the option. You just persuade him not to take it. If the club tells him he isn't wanted, he would go home.

Today in itself isn't the end of the world, lots of payers missing, London sounded like they playe squire well, goal kicking was the difference on the board. Problem is, we're so far up poop creek that every week there's 101 of these "understandable " reasons/excuses.

I'm sure now that Brown has a similar opinion of the regular season as Northampton Saint. He's just playing with his action figures and plotting for the end of the year. If he's not careful, however, we'll miss the playoffs completely.
