But I thought his effort was great. He did take on the line today, although he wasn't as sharp as he can be. Not playing in the first team is responsible for that. His pass for Gardner's try was simply fantastic and his hauling back after the drop goal was charged down got us that point. A good effort all round and he can be a major asset this season if the fans let him.
First half he was utter crap, didn't want to know, couldn't tackle, kicking was terrible and looked not interested at all.
Second half he improved and grew stronger as the game went on. I'd loved him to have dropped that goal, he did great getting back to that failed drop goal attempt.
