Lots of talk of Chris Ashton on here, seem to recall a fair amount of gloating and jibeing, when he left us....
You are better off without the money grabbing little weasel, he would have only have milked the club for years to come, by threatening to leave, using up all your cap space, meaning you're out-bid whenever someone comes on the market, whilst spending half in the injury room.
Its for the good of the club and well done Big Mac for not beaking the bank for any one player+
When in good god did you develop sense of the common variety.
At the end of the day, we could NEVER have afforded Kyle as soon as Union sniffed around. If he wanted money, rather than the respect and adoration in League, like CAshton and Robinson before him, who can fault him.
If we detatch ourselves from the emotion we have as fans, we would probably have done the same thing.
I see the salary cap has reared it's head as a point again. Well, for Kyle Eastmond, I raise you Wakefield as a reason to keep it. Until we can grow the game to the same financial footing as union, our cap HAS to stay. Just there should be a few caveats to try and help this sort of situation.
