I didn't understand their reasoning in renewing all those contracts, Peacock, Senior, Buderus, etc for next year.
Peacock and Buderus I can, Senior I can't.
Time is starting to tell on Peacock, his powers are waning, and he won't be carrying the Leeds pack forward like he has done over the last few years much longer. He was a big miss in that final.
I've never rated Diskin as better than average, so I can see why Buderus is being resigned. McShane doesn't look ready for a full time role as yet, he needs more time in the first team without being relied upon.
But it wasn't just those three. Keith Senior, Kylie Leuluai, Scott Donald, Matt Diskin, Danny Buderus, Ali Lauitiiti and Ryan Bailey all resigned.
Lot's of miles on the clock especially when you add Peacock.
That's why I put etc. originally. You made me do some research, stopped me painting the bathroom ceiling, so you have got me in trouble with her who must be obeyed.

Kylie still has a few years left, just needs to find his top form. As with Disko and Ali. I was delighted to hear that the TMFMISL had resigned
Over the last six years we have undoubtedly been the most successful team. Leeds were pretty much nowhere six years ago.
Pretty much true if you ignore us topping the table by 9 points, scoring over 1000 points during the season to finish with a difference of almost +600, topping the league from the 1st game to the last, beating you 70 - 0 at Headingley. Oh, and beating Bradford in the grand final. Apart from that, pretty much nowhere six years ago.

You won't get her to concede she was wrong with facts, her integrity won't allow it.

It depends on who they bring in, Bailey and Diskin are no brainers really, they aren't that old.
They may have a few problems in a year or two when they have to make wholesale changes though.
Over the past six years Leeds have won four Super League titles and we have won one. That's pretty emphatic from where I'm stood.
Well, it is if the only thing you live for is the Sky competition. However, if you take a more complete view what do you see? Ok. You see:
One Grand Final win and three Grand Final losses = Grand Finalists four times on the trot. If we get there again, we equal the Superleague record, I believe, with Bradford. Seven Challenge Cup wins (and however disparaging you are about that cup, no-one in the Championship leagues or even the lower echelons of the Superleague has won it for quite some time, so what you say about it is bollox) Four (or is it five?) hubcaps. One World Club Championship A season in which we won everything going, including individual, coach and team awards (plus man of steel on three other occasions)
I think that makes us more successful than Leeds. But you carry on viewing rugby league through the narrow focus of the Sky media machine if that makes you happy.
I always though and still do that it is winning The Super League is the superior win and success! rather than a Grand Final were stupidly teams who can lose get a second chance!
