I think I agree. We should be giving the club a bit more slack, in my opinion the transition to the new stadium and moving shop is a bigger task than expected, i reckon they are under staffed at the moment.

OK some season tickets have not arrived but you don,t need them until February so why panic, the "Friday Night Event" was forced upon them by the council, so a few people missed out. Let the club just get on with it, they have probably realised there is a shortfall in communications to the fans, just give them a few months slack. If the problems are there at the start of the season.....Then Complain.

I been trying to phone the shop all week & most of last week.I dial this number which is on the official Saints site [01744751419].I get a calling tone but no one answers [don't say its par for the course] .I phone again later & i get an engaged tone.Is it they are in the process of moving to the new ground bearing in mind i do not now live in St.Helens so i have no idea whats going on.[live on the dark side now]ugh ugh even my e-ms are coming back undelivered.I know what the e-m addy is so thats not wrong well it was'nt. Thank you.

If its for tickets you need the stadium shop, if it's for a full range of the new branded sports wear its the stadium shop.
The sooner the town shop closes the better, it's one less frustration to deal with.

There didn't look to be a great deal of stock in the shop at the ground today, but they are obviously in the process of moving everything there.

The 'business' side probably isn't run like this. The corporate stuff is probably bob on. It's communication with the fanbase that is poor.

the fanbase is the club's customer base, not just some bottomless pit of money and loyalty to be taken for granted.

Proper customer communication is not difficult.

when do the excuses end?

for years the excuses for poor communication and treatment of fans was that KR was holding them back from doing what they wanted to do.

then we have had 18 months of being at Widnes, which was holding them back from doing what they wanted to do.

now, we are moving, which is holding them back from what they want to do.

It is not difficult to put something on the website, and email people, and write to people, and put something in the local press explaining what is going on and what times/dates things will be available, and where from.

But when you move house it's normal to leave a forwarding address and new telephone number.

It's been poorly managed.

We will hopefully publish a "problems with moving into your own ground" manual for you, I don't think you will ever use it, but it will make interesting reading.

Found out on Twitter today that Mike Appleton has been on holiday all week so that may well explain why communication between club and fans has completely broken down! That and the transfer to the new server at Langtree Park.

The information I have been getting from within the club, is as I mentioned a week or two ago is that they are understaffed at various phases of the refit and transition. On top of that they probably have a lengthening snagging list to handle, I believe they have had problems with some of the data ports this week.
I assume almost all the pre ordered season tickets have been issued now averaging over 500 tickets a day over the past 2 weeks.
Still think we should give the club some breathing space to get everything up and running.
