For people who finnish work at 17:30, a two hour drive means you are pushing it with traffic to be parked up and in the ground for kick off. Also it has cost me £49 for a tank of petrol that was completely gone by the time I got back to Hull at midnight. Then the £18 I got my ticket for from HKR means £67 on one away trip.
I do not have kids, I do not pay a mortgage nor bills so I could afford this and could justify a late night.
Bradford are an hour closer to Widnes, half the fuel and so a much easier choice to go to the game.
If you honestly think you will bring anywhere near as many to Craven Park on a Sunday afternoon then you will be in dreamland. You notoriously travel in light numbers and can't even be bothered to travel 8 miles to Widnes and fill that stadium.
