Still no anouncement of the contractor for the stadium. This is getting to be very worrying. It's now taken them (Arcadis and Langtree) three months of dliberation to decide this. I hope there is nothing serious behind this delay as it shouldn't take this long.

the end of April before we know who has won the contract to build the stadium.

Then we wont be playing at the new ground before August 2011. Why do they keep making such over optimistic timeline announcements? They are either - 1) just fobbing us off with any crap, or 2) knowingly not telling the truth, or 3) being lied to by other people and the club just believe it, then repeat it to us, or 4) something is going wrong behind the scene.

Why don't people just think along the lines that we'll be in the new stadium in 2012 and then anything else before it is a bonus?

That's too simple and doesn't give scope to moan until 2012.

Must admit I was getting concerned with the lack of news and the length of time the tender process was taking, so I went to the top and asked, the reply is posted in my previous post.

As I have previously stated. Three months is no time at all in respect of any scheme, never mind one with multiple end users.

Fair enough. I've no idea how long these things take, so I'll worry once it's announced that the whole project has collapsed. It's not as if we can affect it either way now anyway.

should imagine by now, that the bonds will be in place, that will allow the council to build/finish the stadium should it all collapse
