Cuthbertson had a great game the other night. 137m, 7 offloads, no errors and 24 tackles. That's a fine performance in anyone's book.I'd just add though that Wigan's front row is hardly a challenge at present. A better comparison is when Leeds went to Warrington, one of the better packs. On the face of it, Cuthbertson's 110m in that game looks a solid contribution in comparison to Amor's 108m and Walmsley's 180m against the same opposition. However, look closer and you'll see that Cuthbertson against Warrington needed 25 carries for his metres and only went at 4.4m a carry. That's bad. Amor and Walmsley consistently go at 7/8 a carry against all sides.
I've posted on the Leeds board, I'll wait to see how that group of forwards goes against us before praising them to the high heavens. Facing our forwards is a challenge unrivalled in SL and I suspect Cuthbertson may not look the same prop.
