Dumbfounded to say the least. Very poor business practice.

Its just throwing money away. Many fans will have given up and decided to watch it at home. Have 6 staff on for just 2 days open from 9 - 8 . 3 on the tickets office, 2 on the phones. plenty cover for breaks and flexi time just 100 extra tickets sold is 2 grand which more than pays for the extra hours.

Just rang the club regarding how I get my tickets that I ordered online and a very abrupt rude lady said "obviously you pick them up".

What is it with that club? Total shambles and then talking to paying customers like sh*t.

I ticked the delivery box and paid £1 but they haven't arrived today.

So Tomorrow if they do arrive in Southport, I will have to drive to Liverpool in the morning, then back to Southport after work, then to St. Helens to the match all because they couldn't get the season tickets online on Monday for their season tickets holders to purchase.

If they don't arrive it's going to be a long queue at the ground no doubt!

I haven't a clue whats happened to my ticket still no confirmation, yesterday I sent an Email out asking for details no reply. I then put in a complaint about lack resonse no reply.

Its as though the club is ready to close for the season and they don't want anybody turning up on Friday. I,m travelling 85 miles down to the ground on Friday and the only evidence of buying a ticket is my banking transaction.


EDIT: Just had a response with the club they have had computer problems with confirmations on ticket sales, they expect fans to pick tickets up at the office unless you have ordered by delivery.

I just phoned them and it's pick up at the ticket office, at least it saves me a trip to Southport on the way home.

I had the pleasure of turning up at 5 past 5 the other day to find the office shutters down and not a body in sight, would have made my life much easier if they opened till 6 but too much trouble.

I dread to think how fiddly and ridiculous it was to get a seated ticket!

I did think they could have dropped a few quid on the Adult ticket too (£15 is more than reasonable IMO for playoffs) but then maybe you would have got a few more bums on seats tonight.

I went to the ticket office just after 5 friday to get my ticket, which was supposed to have been posted out, they had it, there was no queue and the lady who served me was pleasant.

I expected to find my £1 postage in the envelope but it wasn't there, the club can keep it.

In the end we sat in our usual season ticket seats as they were empty, despite showing as 1 of them taken on the internet system.

It all worked out in the end, but it wasn't the best week for buying tickets and the club have acknowledged that, so we regroup and move on. There are posts saying it's down to an outside company, but these problems have existed before, I remember similar happening previously.

Lets see how the next game ticket purchase pans out.
