I've learned one thing from these boards, and that is that the old "form is temporary, class is permanent" maxim means nothing to these kinds of people. We lost and were outclassed on the day yesterday which means therefore that every single one of their players is permanently and irrevocably better than every single one of ours. Off days, poor coaching/tactics and lack of contribution from other areas of the field leaving players exposed are all irrelevant as mitigating factors. When the result goes a different way next time then they will disappear. Just leave them to it until then is the best bet.
I should have learned my lesson from arguing similar points with similar knuckle draggers over on the Wigan board but once again I'm guilty of allowing myself to be dragged into the sub-intellectual mire....
