Flannery has been a good addition from the first day he put on a saints shirt.
I know what your saying about players getting all the good press for making breaks and scoring tries, im not one of them.
IMO flannery as a 2nd row is a solid hard working backrow as is clough, wilkin, dixon, ashurst. I just think we have to many same style backrows, when flannery came in they said he was pretty good with the ball yet he looks poor with the ball when in backrow but then looks pretty good with the ball in the centre.
I'd be happy to give flannery a fulltime centre spot next year with shenton(if he's signed) in the other centre. wheeler would then have to prove his worth and get fit to fight for his spot next year.
Sia could replace flannery in 2nd row which IMO would be good to have big hard hitting, hard running backrow which we don't have this year.
