We need someone capable of building again and playing the game the right way. This current side, playing percentages, isn't Saints. We need to get another big forward and play the right way, utilising the backs and being more dynamic and less routine.
Cunningham cannot be given the job. He's not got enough experience of leading and coaching and you have to worry a lot about the old boys club. He'd be coaching players he played with and is probably really good friends with and he'd have to make hard decisions about them.
Don't want Paul Anderson either. Daniel would be good because he's cool but he's not been working recently. Daryl Powell has done a good job for a long time now, but not sure McManus would be up for paying another large fee.
