Well just finished watching the game and it's nice to see the OTT reactions I was expecting.

For me the game demonstrated a few things that have been said by others. but it was far from conclusive.

I find it funny that people are calling the Wigan game in the pointless league a meaningful game, yet they are totally discounting the Leeds game in the league.

Again with a worse team we came within 1 point of beating Leeds in the playoffs last year.

Am I happy that we are out? No
Do I like it that we are giving over so much easy ball? No.
Are there some players who have been shown on consistent weeks to be underpar? Yes.

Playing Percival and swift was always going to be a risk. Personally I would have gone with Jones and Swift as bring back 2 injured players seems to be pushing your luck.

I only hope the coach makes some decisions. We can play with a consistent team now. We are 10 games in and I'm more clear on who I would have in and out of this team.

Everything we lack is fixable.

I believe the problems are little worse than your making out but are fixable but some of these problems can only be fixed with better players coming in.

I predicted 3 losses against Wigan, Widnes and Leeds due to our very very poor defence and very very soft pack. When all was electing us the best thing since sliced bread, I knew we wasn't a great team.

We are averaging aprox 34 points against us in our last 4 games which is utter shocking. In fact it's pure embarrassing.

Rather have a blip now than in October, still I was looking forward to a good cup run . That was always a tough ask with draws against Hudds and Leeds

If we are being realistic, we are not really good enough to win a cup yet.

Leeds wasn't great and beat us pretty easy today. I don't think they got out of 3rd gear.

Wigan wasn't great either but made easy work of us and they ended up only 14 men for most of the game.

I think those two teams Would take us apart in a high intense play off game.

Top four would be an achievement IMO.

We really do need to put 60 on London on Thursday, but then again, the way we seem to be approaching our games, I'm expecting a 32-32 draw!

A lot of it is fixable, biggest obstacle is mental toughnes which is the responsibility of Brown and Cunningham.
We always seem to have injuries and players coming back not match fit when it comes to the "big" games, some of this is purely bad luck.

I would like to see Walmsley changed into a grafter type of prop doing longer minutes he's got the body frame to do the role. This leaves Mose and Sav as impact props, Walker - Richards - Thompson used as Utility.
If there is any tinkering to do I would like to see a couple of games with Lance at full back and Johnny at stand off the latter feeding off Walsh.

Percival needs game time to develop his defensive game, in theory we have some easier games coming up so I would drop LMS and Turner out of selection to give them something to think about.
We,ve got around 20 games to turn things around with the coaching staff and players so I don't think the season is just over yet, a Saints team playing at 100% is a very dangerous team and other clubs know that.

I don't think we have. Saddened was right when he said we have the tools to challenge but lack a captain. When the chips are down, we don't know how to overcome it.
