Just read the post match comments from Brown.
Seems if you are carrying a knock then he will not risk you. Nothing serious with Wheeler. Surely Lance has played himself into the bench spot if nothing else.
Wheeler was dead leg in training, so nothing serious.
Brown says -
"We're obviously happy with the result," the former Huddersfield Giants boss said. "It was tough.
"We had to work hard to get the score we did.
"I think we're a work in progress. The guys working hard for each other but we know to catch up with Leeds and Wigan and Huddersfield and those sides, we've got to keep our feet on the ground and keep working hard and improve.
"Our defence seems to be improving, we're not perfect but the pleasing thing is that, when things go wrong, the guys are covering for each other"
I couldn't find comments about not playing player with a knock - is this on a link?
I think he was more interested in keeping HiHo happy by ensuring he felt part of the squad. I'd prefer Wheeler but knowing his history with injury; its as well he has HiHo who incidentally played very well tonight.
Question - why didn't he play like that last year? (no excuses accepted saying he didn't have Luke Walsh last year).
