I think with Masoe it just depends on the attitude he comes with same with luke walsh, a lot of clubs in the NRL are still interested in Masoe so think he could have a devastating year in superleague and go back home.

Will be interesting what Rogues thinks of this as he's stated he doesn't rate Bateman.

It's interesting a club like Wigan who are self proclaimed greatest producers of young talent and constantly bragging how they bring youth through are buying players AGAIN!

In recent seasons off the top of my Head they have signed and paid a fee for Matty Smith, Blake Green, Scott Taylor, Tony Clubb and now Alan Bateman. That's a lot of money to pay out for players when they apparently can bring them through at will.

he was on wigan scholarship . but those players we bought play against wigan home grown players and they just won the double thanks for you're concern tho.

I'm not concerned mate, I couldn't care less if you buy a new team every year but don't shove it down our throats how great your youth system is and then spend few hundred grand on players.

I stated he was THE OUTSTANDING player when England played Australia at academy level at LSV a couple of year back.

If we had paid a fee for Alan Bateman in the past two weeks I would have been livid. We bring more players through than any other team in RL, but you already know that don't you?
