I thought we played well last, and the pieces do look to be slotting into place. We looked dangerous in attack for the majority - although we seem to forget that we do in fact have a right side. Having said that, we looked extremely dangerous when we went left, and the combination of Manu, Turner and Meli down that side will be a real threat. Jonny Lomax was absolutely outstanding once again - such a threat out the back. He is obviously a confidence player, and he looks to be really enjoying the extra space and freedom that playing full back gives him.
Alex Walmsley was superb up the middle, and carried the ball forward strongly and aggressively. One of the major turning points over the past few weeks has been the support in attack - so many lads putting themselves in the frame around the ball carrier - and Walmsley's try was a great example of that.
Jon Wilkin's kicking game was superb at times, and he looks to be benefiting from the extra responsibility that comes with playing #7.
Defensively we made a couple of mistakes, but the passion and effort when defending our line was great to see. Turner has a habit of misreading plays defensively, but that should improve the more games he plays.
Special mentions too for Sia and Meli - thought they both had great games. Meli was brilliant at times - so difficult to control when in full flight.
Let's not get too carried away - but we are certainly heading in the right direction.
