A form of constructive dismissal but I have little sympathy for him as he had a year protected by Rush to show his wares.

It's a 17 man game and for the season you need a whole squad. They can't all play every match and they can't all start and do 80 minutes.

We are a better team for having Lance than without him. I have nothing against the guy, he was simply brought in for the wrong position.

There is nothing wrong with having quality players on the bench, the best teams have strength in depth are we really suggesting that we should not have quality players on the bench???

No but if you are a marque signing recruited to fill an 80 minute position on top dosh , then undertaking
Scott Moore's role is a poor return.

Agree. It was a poor signing for what we wanted of him but I would think he still has a lot to offer us. Pat Richards was signed by Wigan to play centre having rarely played there and had a terrible first season and look how that turned out. I'm not suggesting Hohaia will have a similar kind of impact in another position but you can compare the situations at this point.

Anyway, erm, Makinson ..?

True but I do feel Lance gets an unfair amount of flack for this.

If someone offered me top dosh to play 6 for Saints, I'd snap their hands off, the fact I can't play it for toffee is the clubs fault.

I agree he was hired for the wrong job, but that's surely not his issue.
