Tony Blair was Prime Minister and indeed still had a year of his Premiership left the last time Saints won a final.

It's always hilarious to hear Wire, of all fans, banging on about our Grand Final record based on those 5 defeats.

We've already won the GF four times anyway, wereas their lesser club haven't even been to one, let alone won the thing.

Warrington are a sad, pitiful, underachieving excuse of a club, always have been. Once their owners get bored and frustrated of not being able to buy their way around the salary cap to a GF win (or appearance) they and their under-the-counter cash will disappear and Dire and their knuckle-scraping fans will return to the mid-table schedule-filler status that is their natural place in the scheme of things
