]No idea who Karl Pilkington is, and don't care. I have met Jamie Foster twice and he came across as a down to earth, nice bloke who happens to acknowledge he can kick a ball. I have no issues with someone acknowledging their talent.
I also saw his face on Friday when he let in the try (by coming in to help Wheeler). I also saw how the lads grouped around him after he dropped the ball and given the abuse reigning down on him from the Saints fans in the West Stand I'm not surprised they did.
My own experience leads me to believe that he is not big headed.
Yes, I have read his tweets. I follow him. They are a lot more controlled lately. Because I follow him I also know just how anxious he is to do his best for Saints. He said after HKR he was going to practice, practice, practice at his place kicking because HKR represented his worst ratio since he's been our kicker (although he was just back from a thigh injury and so probably hadn't managed to get in much practice). What happens on Friday? He kicked every one, including shots from the touchline. He has apologised for his two mistakes on Friday on Twitter subsequent to the match. He says he is working really hard to get better in defence. And he was working really hard in defence on Friday, bar the try and the dropped ball (which was the hardest type of kick to catch).
Only males of a certain age have a problem with him. Women have no problems with him, seeing him as a young bloke acting like a lot of young blokes do. And kids love him and want to be like him with his coloured boots and haircuts. He just comes across as a regular 21 year old bloke to me.[/quote]
"An idiot abroad" now who does that remind me of?
