gusts of upto 70mph are common place in the UK, all over the UK. It's a sustained speed that constitutes the actual wind speed and is what building's structual integrity is based upon. Ok, so if there were 70mph gusts reported AT Langtree, and the roof seriously broke up, what would happen with an actual 70mph wind speed (also quite common in the UK now)... For a slight lift at 70mph, you could shrug and say "it's a 70mph gust", but not that amount of damage.
There IS a fault somewhere, there's Saints Fans all over here agreeing that there's a fault, everyone seems to be of the same opinion with exception yourself.
