Quite frankly I could not careless on the ticket allocation. Either people should turn up week in and week out and therefore boost attendances generally forcing the RFL to aim higher, or stop moaning because they cannot get a ticket for a match that is limited.
Reminds me alot of the Olympics whinners.. There is limited space, therefore not everyone gets a ticket and no matter the allocation system there will always be those wanting to whine. It's not fair it's not fair. No doubt, there will still be tickets available at the end of this week. There is a huge difference between playing at KR and Wigan where we get about 5000k away fans turn up to bolster the home support and getting basically a maximum turn out of 15k from each club to fill a 30k seater.
If you take Saints last year our average was between 10 - 11k, when wigan came we sold out. so lets say that's Wigan bringing 5k. At Wigan similar story. So you can draw about 5k away fans for a normal fixture, add to that some who will make the extra effort for a semi and there is your RFL calculation.
It's not a final and some glory hunters will hold back waiting for the final rather than put out for a semi.
