The pointbis when Hooper did it there was no rule in placevto protect the kicker. Hooper pretty much set the tone for the sin binning of a late hit on a kicker.

Sone of you lot are either really stupid or good wind up merchants. Hoffman not getting 10 minutes was a shocking decision and I can only guess that MR Silverwood never seen it.

As for the Wiganer who said Hoffman had a fine game, I agree but he was outshone by Sia Soliola. There'll be a few Wigan players staying in bed tommorow morning.

Hoffman's saving grace will be he wasn't looking at the kicker and just carried on his momentum.

Get real, Pete. Doing what Hoffman did may indeed have been adjudged to be legal but in another match he would have been sinbinned. Because what he did was irresponsible, not sporting.

Nothing in it at all. He was fully committed to the tackle and Wheeler getting injured is pure accident.

Hopefully he'll be back playing soon. He looked awesome when he was on. On a side note what a pleasure to watch rafts of youngsters like him, Lomax, Foster, Makinson, Charnley, Farrell, Mossop etc etc running around and making such huge contributions. A great sign for both clubs future.

Like it or not every team pulls tactics looking for an advantage now & then...Foster's "injury" around 75 mins, for example - nothing more than killing time. Q: How is that any worse than a player looking for a penalty? A: It's not.

It wasn't much different from when that Costin fella crocked Sean Long a good few years ago, or Terry Newton on Gilmour & Long. Yes it's a mans game and we don't want tick rugby but come on, Hoffman was that late Wheeler could have brewed up.

Too all the players of both teams . Too all the fans of both teams . Thank you for what was a wonderful match played in a teriffic spirit.

My team won , but had they lost which looked likley with 60 seconds to go it would not have made it any less a great game and a wonderful advert for Rugby League.
