Daft Idea if your asking me, He's your best players and your banning him for putting jokes on Facebook.
I think you've got confused with the Ryan Bailey story. I'm pretty sure the reason for Kyle Eastmond's suspension is more serious than a post on his private Facebook page.

Anyway get him sacked and get his replacement tapped up.
What a total SAD reaction, I do Hope and fell that the St Helens Board has stronger morals to make any player unsettled for their own gain when they are under Contract!

[quote='Fishsta"']I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.

Another classic:
[quote='Fishsta']You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

If true then I'm afraid Eastmond's career is fatally compromised. If he were to return after a period of suspension the flak he'll take will be a million times worse.
The kid PROMISED to knuckle down and give 100% to the club and, most importantly, his team mates. If he can't remain professional for more than two matches the trust of all parties will be irrevocably shattered. Unrest would grow like a cancer and eat away at the club from the inside.
It's a tough decision and we're going to suffer terribly because of it. But the alternative would be much worse.
Whilst Eastmond is attracting a lot of criticism I can't help but think that the club is complicit in this debacle. Regardless of Kyle's immature and ill-advised actions Saints could and should have handled this issue - which they've known was in the pipeline ever since he chose only to sign a two-year extension - in a far more proactive way.
