Even if it was it would never of been reviewed if Wilkin hadn't complained to Silverwood.
A very football way of doing things and no place for it in Rugby IMO

Yes. It was clear from the Sky footage that Lima was working Wilkin's arm in the tackle. I didn't see the one on Soliola but that was worse, apparently. The man has clearly played dirty and he deserves to be punished for it. He and others like him (regardless of team) will get the message that dirty play won't be tolerated. That's assuming the RFL stick to their decision, obviously. They don't usually but they may have changed by some miracle.

I've watched it 4 times and he is working the arm but if were giving 2 games for that then were either going to have to change the whole arm wrestling work or were going to see alot of players banned.
Suprised Wilko spoke out, would of expected it of Graham or Wellens but not Wilkin

I didn't know there was a rule saying I had to! I replied to your question, which seems like a logical thing to do.

As to the rest of your post, since you would like me to reply to it (for some reason), the RFL review all matches whether there has been any report made or action taken by the ref or not. So it is perfectly likely that the RFL would have spotted the tackles all by themselves. I'm told they are grown ups!

I didn't know that soccer fans politely spoke to the ref, having followed due process by asking to put forward a formal complaint in front of the captain of the opposition team but if you say it was soccer like then so be it. I'm all for players wanting to protect other players from unnecessary dangerous play. Good on Wilkin. The man has balls.

The ban was for that and for a worse tackle on Soliola. So that was two dangerous tackles by the same player in the same match. Casts a different light on things, wouldn't you say?

I think your being overly harsh because it's a Wigan player. Both didnt look that bad and IMO should of carried a warning

Well, the precedent's set, let's hope for some consistency in dealing with similar incidents for the rest of the season. Y'know, like they did with Senior's kicking out in the tackle last year. Oh, wait...
