Mick Potter himself has said that some players are talking to other clubs. It may just be the out of contract ones (they have 16 OOC players) but from what I read on the Bradford forum they are all available to move.
Would like to think we would be interested in Kopczak. Is Manuokafoa quota exempt? I think Jason Crookes is on his way to Hull FC.
Kopczak, Gale and Ta'ai have all signed for Huddersfield have they not?
I cant help but feel we missed a trick not getting Liam Watts, fair enough has offield issues, but i think he is the type of player saints need.
Both Martin Gleeson and Scott Moore had off field issues. In the day of the salary cap can a club, of our status, really afford to roll the dice on somebody who doesn't even have a track record of superlative performances?

Totally Agree with your point, But not always do players with previous issues off the field go down the Martin Gleeson route. Sometimes some of the best players in the league only become avaible due to offield issues, previous examples Joel Monaghan (one of the best wingers in the league) and Greg Bird (One of the best players i've seen in superleague which nearly took Catalan to a grand finial on his own)
Granted the players who continue with their offield antics probaly outweigh the one's who turn it around. But when players come along with talent like Watts in a postion we need why not have a punt on him? Obviosuly due to the issues we could have used his contract terms to suit ourselves. i.e A short term deal.

If we take that kind of high and mighty attitude we might miss out on the next Sean Long. Some of our best ever players have been very much in the naughty boy category.

Not been on here for while so don't know if it has been mentioned but I heard we are looking at Josh Griffin from Cas.
That was mentioned a while ago. Brown coached him at hudds, didn't he? The general concencous is big and good going forward, but very suspect defensively. Apparently has been showing good form in the centres for Cas, as opposed to his more usual wing birth.

He did. I think he only played 2/3 matches though before moving on.
