RE Jordan turner.

I had high hopes for him; a big lad lad with some pace and ability. This term he was awful and I gave up on him. Recently playing a different role he appears to have gained a new lease of life. I am now wondering if he will make a good loose forward. I hope he does.

I'm not confident. But then again I'm never confident! I've no idea which Saints team are going to turn up on Saturday - the Cas play off one or the Warrington league game one. The former would be a dangerous animal; the latter a lap dog.

I'm also nervous as f***. Swore I wouldn't go to another GF for a decade after the 2011 loss which I found the hardest of the five to bear. But here I am again, tickets bought and coach booked. Masochistic.

I think it was Shaun McRae who said Turner would eventually end up playing Loose Forward.

No he can't play loose. He's playing 6 now and doing a ok job considering he's covering that spot and it's not his position.

Why would we want someone as soft as him in our pack when we will have Walsh and Burns in the halves ball playing.

Put him back to centre until we can sign a good centre

He was great against Cas.

We are a team that ebbs and flows. Hopefully we'll be doing the right one on Saturday!

There's two sides to Jordan Turner's game. There's the side of his game were he just drifts through the 80 and is effectively just a passenger, but then there's the other side were he's capable of grabbing a game by the scruff of the neck and being a match winner.

We'll see which one turns up tomorrow.
