It wasn't long ago that our chairman was saying we have wooden men in iron ships. Masoe was supposed to bring a bit of that but sometimes you wonder if we signed him from Build A Bear not Penrith.

I hate Hock with a passion. But it would be an answer by McManus to my criticism over the years that he's far too conservative and isn't actually even attempting to win trophies. Signing such a reckless, maverick, who is as likely to destroy the club than help win a trophy would be a sign that things are improving.

maybe the mad dr was so mad he scared hock into rational thought. In a " im mad but that bugger's lost it" kinda way?

Swift, who has a wonderful try scoring record, is a real threat with ball in hand, as well as being safe with kicks, has been scapegoated for defensive frailties on that side. It seems harsh to blame a winger for it, it seems even harsher to leave him out long term for a player as bang average as Dawson.

As mentioned elsewhere, I'd like to see him get a run at #1 for the rest of the season.

i basically agree with this, yes he made some defensive errors, but his attacking ability over Dawson (who isnt a great defender either!) puts him well ahead in my book

IF Hock came to Saints, would it mean you would focus you venom on him and leave poor Wello alone.
