I can see why you might be upset though, must have been horrible to hear the wire singing whilst your stadium half emptied.

You may not troll our boards as much as is made out, however we rarely get chance to celebrate, so I think we're allowed to rub this one in your face same as you would have done and always have done when we bottled it. Some people are just upset because they dont want to accept that 'W@nky warrington' just might not be w@nky anymore.

That 'were not w*nky anymore' is easily the most embarrassing chant I've ever heard at a RL ground.

Good Luck on Saturday, enjoy the atmosphere and the game, gutted it's not us but can't begrudge, the team that was better on the night that mattered, their place in the Grand Final.

You'll still be affectionatley know as W@nky even though you've had a real good Purple patch these last 4 years.

At the end of the day it's the moments that define us all and this is one moment that everyone involved with your club should savour as they are not always as recurrent as they have been for us in the last 6 years.

Again good luck and enjoy the moment on Saturday.

Indeed - they might as well have chanted "Your fans over the years have beaten us down, gotten under our skins and given us an inferiority complex that we'll never be to able to shake off" instead. It just demonstrates the deep-seated trauma that they are all labouring with and only years of sustained success will help cure them of it I reckon - I think there may be jumpers from the top tier at O/T next week if Leeds win. I think we're just inately a little better balanced - I certainly don't remember us ever having to bother singing "we're no longer S**t Helens" at Wigan back in '96 for example...

Steady on. It's taken you 4 years of heavy spending to get anywhere near Old Trafford. You played better on Saturday night and thoroughly deserve your grand final placement. But as for no longer been W@nky? You were 40 minutes away from missing out again.

Warrington's problem is that although they have the superstars, the cash, the coach.. there are still essences of a 'small club mentality' over at the HJ. It just seems no matter how much they win, I will never think of them in the same way I see Saints, Wigan and Leeds. Hence why you will be forever known as W@nky
