I'll put money on him winning something with saints during his 3 years at saints.
With respect, the hudds squad is a mid table squad that can ouch above it's weight and then expeditions get to high.
Next year he will have a much better squad of players, he will be fired up to prove the likes of you wrong and we also have the best training facilities in super league.
Not sure there is this almighty difference between the Saints and Giants squads.
Unless he gets a lucky set of CC draws I would put money on you not reaching a final under Brown . Not a pop at saints, just the limitations of Brown.
I want Brown coming in fresh fit our pre season and it will freshen the squad up, if he comes in now and we start losing games, it will be add a negative atmosphere leading in to 2013 season.
He should go home to OZ and have a rest while working on our squad for next year and get his perpetration sorted for how he wants us to play.
IMO its a blessing in disguise for us.
I agree with this (although I have no idea what perpetration is? )
Its a bit like in cricket having a few difficult overs to survive at the end of a days play when you bowl a side out. Far better to start the following day when you are fresh. Leave Rush and KC in charge, give him a break from what must have been a pretty stressful couple of months at Hudds. Start pre season with new plans and new tactics and a few months to drill them into the players prior to the start of next season.
IMO your squad is miles behind Wigan, saints, Leeds, Catalan, Warrington and hull.
The likes of grix, mcgilvery, murphy, gilmour, brown, Moore, ferguson, Lawrence and others I can't even think of are average players.
IMO you are utterly wrong.
Assuming your analysis is correct then:
McGilvray Grix, Murphy, Moore, Gilmour,Ferguson all given their first Giants contract by N. Brown. K Brown and Lawrence got renewed contracts under Nathan Brown....oh dear, you must think his judgement very poor (especially as one of his firts signings was Turner )

McGennis, Clough, Dixon, Wheeler, Foster, Makinson? Its easy to dismiss players.
Truth is with a salary cap every team have average players. Successful teams use the players within their limitations and make them look good Carl Ablett and Liam Farrell are two excellent examples of that.
Saints have a similar fundamental flaw that the Giants have, too light a pack, only Puletua would physically dominate anyone. Much more difficult to play pretty footy without field position or even the ball.
Saints will attract no-one better than the a giants can, you named numerous Giants players you list as not good enough, I could list numerous Saints players of tw same ilk, Brown has gone to a very similar club in Saints.
You are gonna need a massive rebuild and only time will tell if Brown can get it right after 2 failed attempts?
Only time will tell but I reckon you could turn into another of Browns also rans, as we have become.
He will as someone said be going all out to prove people wrong but the question is has he got the tactical nous, as a Giant fan who has had 3 and a half years of watching his tactics and team, I would say no, he can't get his team up for matches that count and has a plan A, if that fails it goes tits up.
It's hard to attract players to "lesser" clubs so he's had to get what he can.
Saints can attract big name players, so he'll be able to sign better standard of player (providing the board back him).
He's took the giants as far as he can and now he's moving on to a better and Biggs club.
Oh dear, lovely pre salary cap comments there. The board will have a grasp of the salary cap. Which is why they lost out on Paea - NB was desperate to get him - and settled for Turner.
Don't even embarrass yourself by trying to argue that Turner is better than Jerry McGilvray
All this lesser clubs / bigger clubs...big names etc...its all rather quaint. Intelligent Saints fans don't indulge in that type of posturing.

brown is a fabulous assistant coach.
He's done wonders for the giants, even you should be able to see that.
I think he's a fabulous first team coach.
