TP pulled up with a leg injury so perhaps it was late on today. It would have been less wasteful of a bench space and more productive generally to shift Meli into the centre and put Makinson on the wing. We could have had a field day with him on the edge given the amount of space Warrington gave us.

I'm not laughing at you, I find something's you say funny, bitter crazy but I do respect this is a open forum and people share different opinions.

Also, I know you are passionate (sp) about saints and deep down your truly great person that I could talk to face to face about Royce Simmons all night and never get bored.

Any chance of that date yet?

It stopped being about Royce per se before the match against Leeds. I lost respect for some of our senior players and I'm finding it difficult to support them.

So I'd probably end up talking about the wonders of the English language or something, and drive you to drink that way instead.

Do the results and manner of play now not suggest that some of those senior players were on to something ? Its a fine line to tread between percentage football and the completion rate scenario that we have seen in recent years to the offloading flair attack we have seen in recent games and it seems that line wasnt one that Royce could tread.

There were inherent problems with Royce this year and that has been covered to death,even if the senoir players had of stepped up we lacked a gameplan,the halves to carry it out and a coherent team effort and that particular buck has to stop at the door of the coach.

Whether or not they were is totally irrelevant. They are paid professionals and fans turn up to support them. They are paid also to work for their boss, which on a day to day basis is the coach. James Roby is the best example of a true professional: he works his butt off in every match no matter who is the coach, and he has now had three or four, I can't remember exactly when his debut was. He's the only senior player who didn't come new to the side this year who I have any respect left for. The rest didn't deserve their pay cheque for the first seven games.

I don't include the young guys in this (Wheeler is still a young guy to me and he has been outstanding all season).
