i'd agree with jonh to be honest. He's been disapointing, yes hes not had amazing service, but that never stopped Gidley or Lyon. Yes we've been spoilt with true world class centres, but he knew the boots he was filling when he came here

You can't praise Lomax and Gaskell in one hand and then use them as an explanation for shentons bad performances in another

so you are saying that they are no good? I'd have to disagree, in my opinion they are playing better together than eastmond and pryce were last year, its the bench were we are shocking, and in that, i completely agree that ashurst and dixon are never superleague players, and certainly not good enough to wear the V

Lyon had Long, Scully and Vinnie Anderson (I hate this term) playing inside him, compare that to Shentons service. Dont get me wrong, Shenton is not in the same galaxy as Lyon but he is being made to look poorer than he is.

I cant stand Shenton, hes in my dream team and has hardly ever scored....
