Shouldn't the cameras in the corner be the fast shutter cameras so that the images are clearer?

any other video ref wouldn't have given that try
but it was obvious from the start with the trouble justin morgan had with ben thaler a few months back he'd give it...laughable i know...but you can bet that's why he gave it.

If that is the case then it is a disgrace. Refs should not carry vendettas against particular teams, players and coaches. I hope he gets slated when his performance is reviewed.

In relation to the forward passes, it is my opinion that it is quite tough for a ref to call these as he is continually moving back 10 with the defensive team. I think the forward passes should be taken out of the refs responsibility and given over to the linesman. The linesman should be getting much more involved than just flagging when a ball is in touch. He should be like a second set of eyes for the ref.

When I saw the "try", I thought it was a clear-cut knock-on. However, given what Rogues says, I could understand a "Benefit of the doubt" decision.

I'm just glad it didn't come down to being the difference in the match... or indeed our position in the table. Although, come the end of the season, who knows.

bias or no bias,it was given as BOD IMO which makes it difficult to prove Thalers' real intentions...

It wasn't given as BOD as if it was this would or should, have been displayed on the screen.

I am not saying it should have been a try or it shouldn't but clearly the thinking behind it is that the Hull KR player knocked the ball out and then Richards grounded it. Looking at the hand of Fox I don't think it was as crazy a decision as some make out.

It was a try, his fingertips were on the ball hence downward pressure.

Iffy Decision though to be fair,And if KR was in the match abit more would it have been a no try decidion?

correct it wasn't put on the screen as BOD but I believe Thaler gave it as a BOD without being 100% sure if he was correct or not - I think his subconcious bias allowed it,if you like.
I think it's a case of reading between the lines...
