My dad is a die hard Saints fan and the behaviour of many (not as small a minority as some would have you think) puts him off going to the GF. He goes to every other game home and away pretty much.

Having said all that, my train gets in from Guildford just after midday and I'll be straight off to the pub

My Saints supporting brother in law and partner (both season ticket holders) have taken the same stance. It's pitiful that good honest supporters are driven away from big games by these numbnuts.

Heard that the rozzers have banned fans from "drinking beer from anywhere you can see the pitch" on Saturday. Bang goes the plans for Syd sat in his padded seat with a 2 pint pot in each hand.

Given events on Sunday at HJ, I cant say Im surprised but its bad news that, effectively we are being treated like the football fans. A real shame.

Hasn't that been the case for a few years now? Although it has never really been enforced, at least not in the areas I have been sat.

Hope it is enforced to the letter this year.I've had enough of idiots spilling or through ale all over the place and having to get up every 5 minutes for someone to go the bar.

After the disgacefull scenes during the game from Saints fans when we were losing last year i'm not surprised drinking at your seat has been banned

The small minority ruin it for all
