Gaskell would jump at the chance, the thing is whether they would accept a loan or want a player committed to the club fullstop. The article says they are looking to next year, can't see them shaking up their current halves unless their slide down the table continues and the halves carry the can for it.

I would be very happy to take Lee Gaskell off your hands, but only on a full time deal. Gentle did say that Horne would be our fullback for next season although we have apparently signed Shannon McDonnell from Rovers on a 2 year deal also McRae has come out and said that a half back is our main priority now, but is difficult finding the right player for us.

Hopefully Horne won't be anywhere near 6 from next season and even better he'll be used as a squad player.

Also rumoured to be signing Lopini Paea from Catalans too.

I would prefer to let you have hohaia, fre up a quota spot, and draw a line under a poor decision. As far as Watts is concerned, I would have liked to see Saints take a punt on him, there arent many promising young british props around, good bit of business for Hull.

We'll have some very good props at the club over the next couple of years. Watts, Bowden, O'Carroll and most Hull fans and some KR fans (especially the ones I know) expect to see Scott Taylor move to Hull within a few years. Also to add to that Jay Pitts who we picked up from Leeds earlier in the year. Gentle wants us to have a forward pack simular to West Tigers, a fast mobile pack. We brought in Pitts and PG said he see's him as a prop but imo although he wants a mobile pack. I think he's too small for prop unless he puts on abit more size in the pre season.

As for Hohaia, no thanks we're saving a quota for Marshall

He's been crap for us in all honesty, when he's played he's be at 6 but has also covered in at 9 when needed.
