That would do for me! Wigan have a similar approach with Iestyn Harris, Paul Deacon and Kris Radlinski and it's working marvelously for them.

Hill has been a excellent signing and I agree possibly the best in super league this year.

I must admit I didn't really rate hill when I saw him play at Leigh but a mate of mine who player for Leigh with him kept telling me he will be top super league player. Looks like he was right

He'll be an international soon enough, I'm sure of that.

Hopefully, rather than sign someone he will realise that we have got the best young stand-off in the country already at the club.

Saints have definitely been in for Matty Smith but from what I've been told he's going to Wigan. Gaskell and Smith would be a terrific long-term combination if we could get it together. Far more likely that they team up in Cherry and White though.

With Gaskell and Smith, you would have a good kicking game, but very little else. We need one or the other, playing alongside a running/passing half, but not both.
