I disagree about Jones, he's caused problems for the defence in most of the games he's played and is still only 18 with plenty of time to develop. Already this season he's offered more than Shenny, and I'm not a Shenton-hater.

He has a lot of potential from what I've seen of him so far: he looks strong defensively and has got decent pace.

We could end up with a back-line consisting of (if you believe the rumours...):

1. Wellens/Hohaia (will be Wellens' last season surely?)
2. Gardner
3. Turner
4. Jones/Wheeler
5. Makinson
6. Finch
7. Lomax

Difficult to know how much more you expect from an 18 year old making his first steps in SL. I would also argue he has certainly caused problems for some SL sides in his limited appearances to date.

Nathan Brown is apparently a fan of josh jones so I'm told.

Don't be surprised to see Andrew Dixon leave at the end of the season.

I was getting told about brown today by saints player who's spoke to a hudds player about him. Brown is at the training ground at 7am every morning and is always last to leave and he seriously takes no crap from any player no matter who he is.

He's also very impressed by our new training ground. (he must have been)

The Shenton rumour looks more plausible then, Turner as his replacement with Jones & Wheeler fighting for the other centre position.

Good because that's exactly what we need. I have a good feeling about him coming in and hope he gets the freedom to build his own team.

He was playing well before he was dropped. He'll never set the world on fire, but not bad by any means

Fair comment I just think he's a squad player at best and doesn't offer us more than we already have. If his leaving means we have room to bring in someone else to improve us I'd say that was a good piece of business.
