Ahhh hadn't read the article, assumed it was Anthony. Mark would be an even less inspiring signing IMO, decent player but nothing more.

I can see Hull wanting/needing to offload Manu now they have signed Ellis. Out of the two, an attacking second rower v a defensive second rower, I know which I'd prefer.

He would be a great signing for our pack.

We don't need any back rowers, and in sia and tp we have plenty of attacking power. We do need a prop though.

I'd keep TP playing in the loose/prop role on order to sign Manu. We are desperate for a forward like Manu who is fast and can break tackles.

Thats where I'm coming from too. You need another line breaking second rower on the other side of the field to Sia, opposition teams know he's an attacking threat and load up against him. With someone like Manu on the opposite side, they can't keep both of them quiet.

Remember how effective we were when we had Joynt and Nickle. Teams just couldn't defend against both of them.

As much as I'd like a pack with that much power, we'd have to be careful as the likes of Burrow would have a field day.

It would allow us some considerable beef on the bench however, something we have lacked for a while.

I'm suprised you're playing Laffranchi at prop tbh. Hasn't he always been a back rower in the NRL?

The current signings would suggest that we are not after another 2nd rower. Think Wilkin is contracted till 2015.

However a pack and bench of the following would be more of us heading in the right direction. You could even switch La Franki and Sia at some point as I think Sia would make a good front rower. Manu gives alot of offloads something we are in desperate need off.
