Foster is trying too hard at present and in doing so is becoming frightened of making a mistake, and in doing so making mistakes. Even his kicking game is falling apart now, and thats a sign that he is mentally shot to bits. He is in a dark place at present and needs to be given support from the senior players, fans and everyone around him. So that he can get his game back on track.
He has shown in the past he has the ability , he just needs to get himself out of the hole he is in.

In all honesty he probably needs to be taken out of the firing line for a few weeks

Well, I did suggest a couple of weeks back that he needs to be dropped to the u20s until his confidence and game gets back on track but it seems that policy was only adopted for one match, which isn't enough to change anything really.

After tonight though he really has to go. I am sure either Ade will be back or there is someone in the u20s who could step in while he finds himself again and gets himself back on the rails. The team has fallen apart and what we don't need is a basket case on one wing. It's not good for him and it's not good for the team.

Will probably follow the same route as Kevin Penny......

just as James Lowes was under pressure when he first dropped Penny who was seen to be a liability (when it was actually matt king) Royce is now under pressure and will not want a percieved weak link in his team.

whether its true or not he is now labelled as a poop winger but great goal kicker...... he wont turn that around.

Well said. The kick on Whitehead wasn't malicious - the ball was there to be hacked, then Whitehead was on it. Harsh to give an additional penalty.

His misjudgement to let Pryce score was obviously the result of knowing that if he caught it on the full, he'd almost certainly be bundled into touch. The ball could have bounced anywhere (looked most likely to go touchwards), but it popped right up into Pryce's hands. Sheer bad luck.

His sin-binning was undeserved. He was slightly off from square as the PTB marker (exagerated by the tackled Bratfut player moving slightly to his right as he got up) and was just over-enthusiastic trying to atone for previous errors.

The fact they all happened in the same match, and it's Jamie Foster, and the usual suspects will have the knives out.

I think you'll find it was me that first suggested putting him in the u20s and I'd still do it now. No matter if Ade is fit or not, I wouldn't pick Jamie again for the next few month and possibly the whole season.

Talk about 2bd season syndrome but he's getting his handicapp down in the golf so it's ok.

One work- shocking

The fans really need to get behind the kid, unless they would like to see a promising career ruined.

I didn't claim to be the first and nor do I care if you were or I was but one thing I do know, you suggested it because you think he's rubbish, as a punishment. I suggested it because I don't think he's rubbish. I think he's in a mess and needs to be rescued.

Sorry but your totally wrong and search my post.

I said Royce should have a quite word with him and explain he's playing u20s for a while for the sake of his development and explain that he's not being dropped.

He's showed he can be a good player but at the moment he thinks he's better than he is.
