Owens didn't kick ? Percy did. He's in the team as our winger Tommy Makinson as gone fullback to cover injured lomax.
Taia had a shocker but he's only been here 10 days with new club and surroundings so we need to cut him some slack, he will come good.
Can't knock the effort of most the players last night, the was lots of effort but not much rugby.
In fact I could see some positives compared to last week. Percy got some good ball and looked a real threat. Peyroux had his best game in saints shirt. Lots of guts and effort. Walker showed what he can bring with offloads and some good carries. Walmsley run like his old self. Fages looked threat when in Decent field position. Roby was just Roby.
It's the lack of attack thst that's killing us. The 7 shirt being the major problem imo, it just didn't go for Wilkin at all, his kicking was shocking. I truly believe lomax amd Smith will be massive in our improvement but it's how long until they are back and we shouldn't just rely on these two
