Oh my god....he's right, scrap the thread, Warrington beat a full on test team just like Saints did 11 years later when we beat New Zealand 27-26 (I went to it).

When was the last time you won the title though?

Far from it we want the wolves to win it, then the wire fan gloating will have some value. I seem to remember 2014 was a "very big year coming" for warrington fans then Saints came along with stealth and took the double on the blindside.

Please give over - as already stated Wire ' s expansive style in the really big games actually made "dull as ditch water" Saints look entertaining. .........

But of course season 1974-75 saw the Mighty Wire become the only team to achieve the Grand King Pentadruple, led by talisman Alexander Murphy

But as Alex says all that historical stuff is "old fish and chip paper" now.
