All half backs are targeted. And Saints didn't have any great difficulty making yards in the forwards (see Walmsley, Vea, Sav etc. etc.) which means, by definition, Walsh wasn't kicking on the back foot.

Only he knows why he chose to kick high to the safest pair of hands in SL ALL NIGHT LONG when anyone with half a brain must know Saints need that ball in touch.

ROBY knew this. With one kick he achieved more success than Walsh managed in eighty minutes. And that's before Walsh handed Leeds the twelve points he's given just about every side since he returned.

Don't forget leeds were without Aiton from about 20 mins, a huge loss.

Leeds intensity and speed dropped considerably at that point. Aiton had been running from dummy half and passing the ball accurately, bringing the Leeds forwards onto the ball and Saints were struggling to hold them. He is also a much better defender than Burrow.

Leeds' can't maintain the pace they set in the first twenty minutes. Which is why they deliberately target the first twenty minutes.

Honestly, you'd swear half our fans never watched how Saints approached Bradford under Millward.

I do think there are some questions about Cunningham's tactics (although both he and Long are experienced and smart enough to know how to interfere with Leeds' game plan - which is hardly anything we haven't seen before) - but right now I think the most pressing issue is Walsh.

We can't win the Grand Final with a crocked scrum half. There's no getting around this.

How many of saints side would get in the Leeds team? Non of the backs and savelio, walmsley, Roby, possibly Masoe and Greenwood.

I think you are overestimating the abilities of your squad. Tell me again, how many points ahead are you in the league (suffering nothing like Saints current injury woes, I might add)?

Certainly nowhere near the kind of gap you'd expect if Leeds' players are so fundamentally ahead of Saints in all departments.

I'm not saying collectively as a team they are miles ahead, this is professional sport and St Helens are a good side. I challenge you to name others who would get in though. Certainly non of the backs.

It would be foolish to try and justify anything after 3 defeats on the bounce.

But it's a long season and no one has any silverwear in the cupboard yet.

And the best measure of each sides merits is when they play against eachother, Leeds have out played sts on all 3 occasions

The best and only measure is the SL title itself. In three games Leeds have played to their strengths whilst Saints (under enormous injury strain) have conspired to do anything but. Right now you've won nothing whilst Saints' name remains on the SL trophy.

When that changes in your favour - then, and only then, will we know.

It wouldnt shock me if sts did win the gf. That's not what I said though, I was asking (as individuals) which players would get in Leeds side.
