Huby is probably a no go, lots of teams bidding, and seems Huddersfield have won out... Limited choices elsewhere (which is why we were looking at a few younger props earlier in the season) or the kids we got...

Yeah completely agree.

As for Huby, I personally think he's worth a bidding war and with the money going out at the end of the year I'd suggest we have the clout to be heavily involved. I'll be disappointed if we miss out on him because I've rated him highly for a few years.

If he has, it's escaped my attention, I can't find anything on it - but lots of players enjoy French culture and it's rare to get a player if Catalans want to keep them.

Flower is definitely not ooc (they are worse than us when it comes to some renewals!)

If we were in for him, which we're probably not, would the Doctor do business with McManus? Well documented they don't get on. McManus has made it a priority not to do business with Wigan over the last few years, resulting in the Higham fiasco....could the Doctor do something similar?

Eammon and Koukash clearly differ in their philosophy, but I was led to believe that they get on. MK was certainly a guest at Saints games before buying Salford. Whether relations have soured since then, I don't know.

Koukash needs a charm offensive anyway to win over more chairman to ever get anything through. McManus is a respected voice amongst chairman, and probably worth not actively annoying by deliberately refusing on the basis it's McManus

And Mac didn't want to do business with Whelan/millward not Pollard/Wane. He's good friends with Pollard, although they disagree on a few things

If we were going for a player swap we might as well throw in wheeler as a freebie,and send him with his personal physio table. Least then our physios could focus on the genuinely injured players
