Things like Amors injury is just unavoidable, but i am starting to raise more and more questions about our conditioning and physio team (and more generally the backroom staff) - brown has come under fire recently, but he does seem to be let down by his backroom staff. When you look at the condition of our players, we seem to be constantly facing an uphill battle against the likes of Wigan and Leeds. Whether it's more backroom staff needed, linking up with a sports science university like Leeds, or an entire rethink of how we condition our players, I feel like something needs to change.
We haven't seemed to be capable of competing physically since Apollo left, and are getting more and more injuries. Not just niggles, but that's now 4 senior players out long term from the last few weeks.
I questioned this last year when we had an horrendous injury crisis just after a couple of games which we never really recovered going into the play offs.
Look at Mose who doesn,t look as though he is being conditioned to be that tough impact player that played in the NRL and world cup, worse than that was Josh Perry the backroom staff never got him fit for more than 2 games, walmsley and Percival are getting injury prone.
Is it possible that our lack of intensity means we are receiving more impact on our player in both attack and defence, our line speed is very poor meaning they are getting hit with momentum is it this that is causing injury.
