Seems old Wello is as untouchable as I said he would be. Even though he's completely untouchable and cannot be dropped, surely he should still be included in the natural rotation element? The last thing we want is our weakest forward player in both attack and defense having to cope with fatigue as well?
Here we go again ....
There is no issue with Wello being part of squad rotation with our squad it makes sense to keep everyone fresh however
Wello was on a par with the defensively excellent Flanagan on Sat ( see RL Express stats). 28 tackles in 50 mins compared to 29 for Flanno. Walker 16 tackles with 4 misses ???
If there is one thing that Wello doesn't have a problem with is backing up week in week out and producing a consistently high level of performance - he's done it over 500 times you know! I suspected that after last week the younger forwards may struggle to back up the week after and the stats prove it. The players who should be rotated are the young ones that's how you protect them . They played well last week but one good game doesn't turn Ant Walker in to Sam Burgess.
I appreciate you may have dangled the bait ... However I am more than happy to take it to counter your ill informed propaganda .
