Meant his first at 7. I remember that Wakefield game though. Flanno supposedly walking round the hospital in his kit for the birth of his child at half-time, and Gary Wheeler sidestepping a couple for a try.
It's decent going though that despite the number of injuries we have, the side that will most likely be put out is still relatively decent. Huge opportunity for a few young players. I suppose that was the benefit of last season to an extent. A couple of experienced guys are still touch and go but without the injuries suffered last year many of them wouldn't have had a chance. At least now they have a decent understanding of what is expected of them and hopefully we'll have another step up and take his opportunity come Friday.
Club deserve credit in my opinion.

Absolutely. The club have had a long term performance plan in place over the past couple of years and we're starting to see the benefits of that coming through now with the experience and quality in depth of our squad. Not only that but we have a very good core of talented, young, British players you can build a team around:
Lomax, Makinson, Turner, Jones, Swift, Wheeler (If he can stay fit), Percival, Amor, Walmsley, LMS, Beaumont, Richards, Thompson, Savelio, Greenwood, Walker etc...
