It's all Lee briers fault. Go to super league tv channel on the well known video site and watch the 'on report' video with Briers and Wellens.

Briers says "If you can carry on playing, you should play for as long as you can, and not quit because once you stop its gone forever".

One St Helener in Warrington complains about Wellens and it's all the fault of another St Helener in Warrington.

I tend to stay away from threads regarding Wello on this forum, but I saw a try montage from a couple of our 2012 games earlier today (last year he played at full-back) and I was surprised at how influential he was to our attack. Top try scorer that year but played a big role in a lot of tries.

Was actually quite surprised.

Couldn't believe he was at 6 today, but he did alright in the second half. Had a hand in two of our trys!

Were you there? If so, what changed second half? From the radio commentary we were awful until about 50 minutes, then had a golden 20 to blow Wakefield off the park. What caused that?

Yep I was.

We were awful but we threw Amor on for his second spell and we got all the momentum and they just couldn't live with us. Became easy.

I think it's fair to say that each individual played better in the 2nd half then they did in the 1st.

Masoe, Soliola and Manu all made good yards, as did Greenwood as well actually. Wilkin bossed things nicely and we were just far more clinical in general.

Wellens isn't a 6, nor should he play there again.
