They put a lot of ball down, but fair play to Widnes, they lost their young hooker (broken kneecap) early on and then had Cahill sent off just before half time.
Widnes played the conditions well, Brown and Mellor kicked Wire to death.

The sending off was correct BUT Hodson was going down when he took the ball and I don't think that there any intent.

Widnes were worthy winners.

What a surprise that it was the former Wigan players that Rogues singles out.

He started his professional career in Wigans academy as a sixteen year old. Warrington decide to sign Scott Leatherbarrow and Wigan signed Mellor, it was the same time we signed Stefan Marsh and Gareth Melling.

I've got to be honest, if there is little to no chance of O'Brien playing for us in the play offs, I'd bin him off now and be picking Hohaia at 7 alongside Wilkin to get them gelling to take us into the play offs.

I did say it might be worth getting Walsh early if he is going out of the playoffs.

I don't think you can do that now though. Wasn't it stopped after the Andrew Johns fiasco? and when Morley was allow to play for Bradford in the Grand Final.

It was mentioned on sky tonight that KR tried to register Stanley G but couldn't as players needed to be registered before the final 5 rounds of the SL weekly rounds.
