What I really don't understand is you have a gifted kicker of the ball in O'Brien and you are not using him. Gardner gets injured (hope he is okay btw) and you rightly move Percival to the wing but you put a player that can play halfback in hohaiha at centre and keep a natural centre at halfback. All very confusing

there can be no complaints from saints about messing around at the play of the ball.

It's probably been discussed in the original squad but why on Earth move Percival from left to right and drop Makinson who has been in good form? Is he not fit? Changing for changing's sake IMO, certainly not what you need against a side as well-drilled as Hudds.

O'Brien should be kicking too. He's got a nice bit of subtlety in his hands that I've not seen in a Saints halfback for ages.

Not out of it which is pleasing considering the start again but I don't see how we break them down unfortunately.

Brown's tinkering is the reason for the awful starts. Notice that once the players get used to their positions we fight back, but it's too little too late.

Turner at stand off now that our halves are fit, but when we had a crisis he never played there?? Baffling.

Forget the trip. That just sends him forward. Pause your Sky when Mullaly cocks his arm back. It's a classic swinging arm high tackle. If anything Gardner tripping gave him an excuse, he's going for a high shot.

well we will never know because he did trip into the tackle, i hope the blokes alright tho didn't look to well

It's a semi decent effort this, but there is no organisation or quality. We just don't threaten when we're in the opposition 10.
