Lol. Back out the game again.

At least the boys have shown some effort in the 2nd half. I was expecting us to flag in the 2nd half though. Not in the 2nd minute.

Yeah. It's taken some doing to concede 36 points! We also put a lot of effort into brainfarts, knock ons and ill-discipline.

We will be extremely lucky to make the top eight this season. It's only thanks to Mr Ganson that we're not back in ninth again tonight.

Like I said the 2nd half.

But that's the game.

Well, Wire just scored again. 42 we've conceded now. Loving that effort you are talking about!

Do you think Wire will reach 50 before we are put out of our misery?

Ah well. Warrington are just better than us at the moment, and it showed. Same problems as ever - soft front row and no half backs. Wilkin had an absolute mare, but I suppose that's going to happen once every few games when you're a second row playing at half back. I don't like to dismiss a young player out of hand, but Ashe doesn't seem to me to have any strings to his bow at all.

Discounting the soft last 2 tries , not too bad in the second half - but we made it far too difficult for ourselves with the paperthin defence.

And yet Gaskell was shipped off to Salford. He at least had a kicking game AND was a superb goal kicker too.

We are an average team being poorly coached. We have one or two youngsters who may or may not come good over time but I'm paying my season ticket for now and so would like to see more effort from the team that I saw tonight and Jon Wilkin should be given some hairdryer treatment as he was supposed to be our leader, and leaders should stand up in the big games not let the side down completely.

Pretty good summary really. I dont like losing but it's more acceptable when it's to a good side like Dire than it is losing to duffers like HKR and Widnes.

Ashe is pretty terrible , and I cant figure out what Brown see's in him tbh

There was plenty effort just a lack of quality. We need 2 props and and in an ideal world 2 halfbacks. Wilkin is a second row being asked to play at 7 with no standoff to give him any support, give the guy a break.
