Swift could of slotted onto wing & Hohaia back in at SO. Makinson to full back. Dont understand the selection. Big pitch too, could of done with Swift's pace IMO.

So is Roby playing or not? Brown said after the Leeds game that Roby would have played had it been a Grand Final and he's had another week since then.

No he isn't playing. Allegedly he's now playing next week, according to a St Helens Star article anyway. Brown has said that Cunningham is working closely with Howarth who is 'learning the ropes' or some such comment. I think his remarks are on the Saints website.

Ashe IMO is one of the worst players to put on a saints shirt. He's shocking in defense and offers nothing at all in attack. I'd rather play blackbrooks stand off than him and I'm not messing.

I understand the point about dropping Ashe, but given the 19 named, there is not alot of wiggle room. For different people to play different combinations. Given what's named then I can see Ashe playing. If brown was to pull a halfback from Blackbrook then I'd be all for that, but he ain't named in the 19.

In the case of Roby, the club are being sensible and not rushing him back.

He won't play until he's 100%.
